First Unitarian Church tickets & upcoming events

Ever been to a place that just feels like a slice of history mixed with good vibes? That’s First Unitarian Church in Pennsylvania for you. This place isn’t just your average church it’s a true landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, thanks to its rich history and stunning architecture. But it’s not just about looks, this church really rolls up its sleeves for the community. They run a lively youth group that’s all about social change, turning young people into real advocates for justice (which, let’s be honest, is pretty inspiring). In 2026 they kicked off a new series of talks about where Unitarianism is headed in the U.S., so if you're into thoughtful discussions, you’ll probably find something you like. Oh, and they organize community events like bike rides, yes, bike rides!, to promote health and environmental awareness, which is pretty cool. The place is also known for hosting educational lectures and workshops, often with senior seating so everyone can settle in comfortably. The balcony, by the way, offers a surprisingly awesome sound experience during musical performances, perfect for catching every note. If you’re coming from the hospital nearby, just head west for a few blocks until you spot the church. Coming from north? Keep an eye out for signs pointing to the city center. Whether you're into community activism, live music, or just exploring historic landmarks, First Unitarian Church PA is a spot worth checking out. It’s a mix of history, community spirit, and good old-fashioned fun, all wrapped up in one welcoming place.
